Lolita-themed Room in anime convention "Yukai Fest" - report and photos

On Saturday we had an Information event + tea party at a local anime convention. It was a fun chance to spread the word about lolita and thankfully a lot of people that were just visiting the convention also came to visit our little lolita-themed room.

So, I come bringing the pictures! c:

El sábado tuvimos un evento de difusión + tea party en una convención de anime local. Fue una buena chance de difundir la palabra acerca del lolita, y por suerte muchos de los que fueron a la convención también pasaron por el salón donde estábamos las lolis.

The convention was set at a school. Here's the Lolita-themed classroom the girls from Lolita Snaps and Hotel Lolita wonderfully decorated! It looked so darling.

La convención era en una escuela. Aquí pueden ver el salón lolita (que en realidad era un aula) que las chicas de Lolita Snaps y Hotel Lolita decoraron maravillosamente. Se veía precioso!

We were supposed to have a Best Coordinate award, but someone stole the tiara that was to be given to the winner... that was a real bummer. Ugh, but I guess those kind of things happen at cons, don't they?

Ibamos a tener un premio al Mejor Coord, pero alguno de la convención se robó la tiara... eso fue un bajón. Pero bueno, supongo que esas cosas pasan en una convención que va mucha gente...

Moving on to happier stuff, the tea party service! Led by Five o' Clock, a catering company. Everything was so yummy!

Pero hablando de cosas más alegres, aquí están las fotos del servicio de comida! Dado por Five o' Clock, una empresa de catering. Todo estaba muy rico!

Hotel Lolita Tea Party & Convention Center Photos - part four: my coordinate

For the last part of my Hotel Lolita 2014 entries, I would like to show you some pictures of my coordinate that day!

The point of the look was "Regal Dots & Pearls". I tried to keep it simple, given the busy print on the dress! Angelic Pretty's Royal Poodle was one of my dream dresses, I feel so lucky to have it. Just seeing all the crowns and poodles makes me feel princess-like!

Para la última parte de mis reportes sobre Hotel Lolita 2014, quisiera mostrarles fotos de mi coordinado de ese día!

La temática del look era "Lunares y Perlas de la Realeza". Traté de mantenerlo sencillo, ya que el print es bastante cargado! El Royal Poodle de Angelic Pretty es uno de mis vestidos de ensueño, me siento tan afortunada de tenerlo. Ya de tan sólo ver todas las coronas y los caniches me siento como una princesa!

I gotta say, I love this upskirt shot! Hahaha. I'm glad the details from the petticoat and heart-shaped socks weren't missed! Debo admitir que amo este ángulo mostrando por debajo de mi pollera! Jajajaja. me encanta que no se hayan perdido los detalles del petticoat y mis medias con corazoncitos!

En retrospección debería haber comprado más cosas. Pero soy feliz con lo que tengo, hehehe.

Por cierto, este post va a estar programado, porque hoy es mi cumpleaños y deberé estar lejos de la computadora! ... bueno, no creo, pero seguramente estaré ocupada. Porfi mandenme amor cumpleañero por acá!

The first purchase I'm going to show you was actually my last, time-wise, lol. It's a handmade, original design necklace by Chaton Noir. The owner of the brand is such a sweetheart!

I had been eyeing the necklace all con and finally decided to buy it near the end. 10/10 design, zero regrets.

La primera compra que les voy a mostrar fue en realidad la última en cuestión de orden, lol. Es un collar hecho a mano, diseño original de Chaton Noir. La dueña de la marca es una divina!

Estuve con la idea fija de comprarme este collar toda la convención y al final de todo, antes de irme, lo compré. El diseño es un 10, ningún arrepentimiento! Jaja

The pink glitter acrylic is gorgeous and so sparkly. I also love the heart-laced mirror next to the lobster clasp, showing the brand. Such an amazing level of detail! El acrílico rosa de glitter es tan hermoso y brilloso. También amo el espejo con borde delicado de encaje de corazones al lado del gancho, mostrando el nombre de la marca. Que nivel increíble de detalle!

I need to coordinate my Vanilla-chan skirt into a "Crazy Cat Lady" outfit. I'm going to use all the cat-related accessories I own mwahahaha. Necesito coordinar mi falda de Vanilla-chan en un conjunto que diga "Loca de los Gatos". Voy a usar todos los accesorios con mínima relación gatuna que tengo mwahahaha.

These next two rings were bought from Rainbow Valley Shop, which is owned by a girl who came all the way from Rosario to visit us in Buenos Aires! Her name is Ariadna and they were handmade by her. So cute!! Los dos anillos que siguen los compré en Rainbow Valley Shop, que es la marca de una chica que vino desde Rosario a visitarnos en Buenos Aires! Su nombre es Ariadna y estos accesorios fueron hechos a mano por ella. Muy bellos!!

I had been in need of a black blouse and Alice's Delusions was selling just the thing! Check out this wonderful organza blouse! Había estado necesitando una camisa negra y Alice's Delusions vendía algo que me vino justo! Miren lo que es esta maravillosa blusa de organza!

And last but not least, a cute notebook printed by Vanilla Studio! I loved the strawberry shortcake motif. Y por último en orden pero no en importancia, un lindo cuadernito impreso por Vanilla Studio! Adoré el print de torta de frutilla.
