Long overdue post. I have no idea how long ago this was (maybe about a month ago??)

We had a visit, a lovely girl from Chile called Camila! So the local community organized a quick get-together.

It was quite a rainy/dark day so not the best day for pictures - but of course we took them anyway! haha

Hace mil que les debo este post. Más o menos un mes?? Agh! Perdón!

Tuvimos una visita, una chica amorosa que vino de Chile llamada Camila. Así que la comunidad local organizó una juntada rápida.

El día estaba bastante oscuro y lluvioso pero eso no nos frenó de sacarnos muchas fotos! jaja

And let's fast-forward to our afternoon at Pani! Actually I had big expectations about this place, because I remembered the food to be delicious. But it turned out everything was a bit... uhm... stale HAHA. Doesn't matter, still had a wonderful time. The place is gorgeous though!

Y vayamos directo a nuestra tarde en Pani! La verdad tenía grandes expectativas de este lugar, porque además recordaba que era delicioso (ya había ido una vez). Pero resultó ser que toda la comida estaba un poco... ehm... dura. No pasa nada, igual nos divertimos! Y el lugar es realmente muy bello a pesar de todo!

Group shot! I love this one because you can finally see the black bows on my socks. I thought the outfit was unbalanced without them but unfortunately they didn't show up in many photos hahaha.

Foto grupal! Me encanta esta porque se notan los moñitos negros de mis medias, que sin eso mi coordinado no tenía ningún sentido y el color negro no estaba balanceado. Lástima que en la mayoría de fotos ni se ven por el ángulo jajaja.

Anime Friends Argentina 2014 - Sábado / Saturday

Bueno! Toca el momento de escribir la reseña del sábado 19/07 en el que asistí a la Anime Friends realizada en Buenos Aires.

Esta historia comienza con mis dos amigas bellezas rosarinas Hibiki Kim (quien estaba de cosplay de Asuka) y Marie Vanille (quien usó un atuendo fairy-kei muy hermoso). Ya más abajo las van a ver a ambas.

La verdad llegamos tardísimo porque tuvimos mil problemas con el camino en auto y el cosplay de una amiga que fue JAJAJA. Ya creo que estábamos teniendo un pico de estrés cuando por fin estacionamos  dijimos SÍIIIII DIOS YA ESTÁ.

La Anime Friends se realizaba en el Centro de Exposición Miguelete. Vaya suerte la mía que el PUENTE MIGUELETE estaba CERRADO POR REPARACIONES. Di la vuelta al mundo para retomar y terminar del otro lado de la General Paz finalmente. Creo que nunca manejé tanto en un mismo día. Pero todo valió la pena!!

Last saturday I went to a con called "Anime Friends" here in Buenos Aires.

Two friends from Rosario came to visit!

Basically we had one heck of a Saturday, including me driving around for like 1 and a half hour because the bridge that led us straight to the convention center was closed.

When we finally got there I almost broke down out of stress from driving so much LOL. Big city, awful traffic.

Misteriosamente aquél día decidí ir de Lolita. Se ve que no aprendo más que a las convenciones de anime no da ir de lolita JAJAJA. Pero bueno, me sentía muy cómoda con mi coordinado, así que lo usé sin más.

Hibiki (quien es peluquera) estuvo como dos horas trenzándome el pelo a la noche para que me quede así. Quisiera despertarme y tenerlo así todos los días *llora un río*

Estrené mi falda de una marca nacional llamada My Augustine. En verdad estaba muy feliz, el print es una maravilla y queda tan hermosa!! Gracias Karu!! En breve escribiré un review, como merece.

For whatever reason I decided to wear Lolita to a con. Not always the best idea. But I feel so comfortable wearing it, the option seemed natural.

My friend Hibiki (who is a hairdresser) spent like 2+ hours braiding my hear at night for it to look like this *cries a river* I wish I woke up like that every day.

I was wearing my brand new My Augustine skirt. They are a national brand from Argentina. The print was so vibrant and top-quality!

Oveja que maneja! Estaba frenado el auto, lo juro (estábamos esperando a Vanille que salga del banco). Mi make-up point de ese día fue "droopy-eyes" para dar un efecto de ojitos caídos que me aconejaran más. Hacía mucho que no usaba mis CLs, los extrañabaaa!

Driving sheep. I swear to god the car was stopped and parked at the time tho. The make-up point was "droopy-eyes" in order to look like a forest bunny. I missed wearing my Circle Lenses!

En el evento compré un retrato y un chibi hechos en el momento por la artista Carolina Santi. La verdad ella era una DULCE total, y los dibujos que me hizo me mataron del amor! ;____; Miren! *luego los escaneo* XD

Lo único que repudio de la Anime Friends fue un poco la organización. El concurso de cosplay no tuvo un cierre y prácticamente "susurraron" entre unos tantos a los ganadores. Uno se imaginaría que lo anunciarían en el escenario y todo... además, ni siquiera quedó claro cuál fue el criterio de elección.

Los puestos bien, pero muchas veces se ve más de lo mismo. Espero que se siga trabajando para generar cada vez eventos mejores! ._.

Nude & Pink Nails from Penny Nail studio

You might remember my last post about Penny Nail, a local nail-art studio. I went there again and just wanted to show off my adorable transparent & nude nails!

Everytime I see their designs I get a lot of new ideas and want to book a new appointment!! Will do, will do, as soon as I'm a bit less busy <3

Recordarán mi último post acerca de Penny Nail, un estudio de nail-art de mi ciudad. Fui de nuevo y simplemente quería alardear sobre mis hermosas uñas con transparencias y colores nude!

Cada vez que veo sus diseños se me ocurren muchísimas ideas y quiero ir de nuevo!! Lo voy a hacer, en cuanto esté un poco menos ocupada <3

I tried taking some selfies where you could see the nail designs alongside an accessory from Chaton Noir. Still have to coord around that certain necklace, you'll see when I'm done thinking up the outfit! Anyway, it's not like much of the nail is seen in this selfies. But you already have the close-up pics.

Traté de sacar selfies donde se vieran las uñas junto con una accesorio de Chaton Noir. Tengo que aún incorporarlo a un coord, ya van a ver cuando salga! En fin, no se vieron mucho las uñas en estas selfies, pero se entiende que son bellas.

These nails were made on my request for a modeling work I had. But that's for another post. For now, have a sneak-peek on what the modeling pictures will be about: a brand named Oh Mimi!

Estas uñas las pedí especialmente por un trabajo de modelaje que hice. Pero eso es para otro post. Por ahora, los dejo con una vista previa del trabajo que les conté: es para una marca llamada Oh Mimi!

Winter Loliday 2014 - Chinatown | Loliday de Invierno 2014 - Barrio Chino

Happy International Lolita Day, fellow lolitas and boystylers!

(well, belated anyway, as it landed on Saturday)

I wanted to talk about my Loliday! We went to a meet-up in Chinatown with a local community.

Quiero contarles del Loliday! Fuimos a una TP en el Barrio Chino con una comunidad local.

The day was chilly and rainy. A typical fall-almost-winter day. Made it sad to see all the other pics from Lolitas around the world enjoying spring-almost-summer! lol

My coord that day was pinker than pink, while the weather was grayer than gray:

We went to a Spanish Arts museum, Museo de Arte Español Enrique Larreta, which used to be a house, close by my city's Chinatown. It had a few works from a contemporary artist (Vicky Graglia), and a Spanish Baroque collection assembled by Enrique Larreta, the house's former owner.

While the modern works of art were interesting, the Baroque collection was simply stunning.

Tons of religious imagery. What a beautiful museum this is! Sadly, it also had some Gardens that were closed off because of the rain :(

Up next was checking out the shops in Chinatown.

Clothing store selfie! This particular store was Korean, filled with BB Creams and circle lenses. So tempting but I had no moneyyyyy ;O;

We had lunch, lots of spring rolls and chow fan <3

I had to leave somewhat early, but I made up for lost time taking lots of pictures! Sadly I don't think I got to photograph everyone, though u_u
