Winter Loliday 2014 - Chinatown | Loliday de Invierno 2014 - Barrio Chino

Happy International Lolita Day, fellow lolitas and boystylers!

(well, belated anyway, as it landed on Saturday)

I wanted to talk about my Loliday! We went to a meet-up in Chinatown with a local community.

Feliz Día Internacional del Lolita, queridos lolitas y boystylers!

(bueno, poco atrasado, porque fue el sábado)

Quiero contarles del Loliday! Fuimos a una TP en el Barrio Chino con una comunidad local.

The day was chilly and rainy. A typical fall-almost-winter day. Made it sad to see all the other pics from Lolitas around the world enjoying spring-almost-summer! lol

My coord that day was pinker than pink, while the weather was grayer than gray:

Beret: H&M
Blouse: Abercrombie & Fitch
Sweater: Curl by Sammy Duval
JSK: Liz Lisa
Socks: Offbrand
Shoes: an tai na
Accessories: Macy's, Vintage, Madame Chocolat Barcelona, Como quieres que te quiera, offbrand.

We went to a Spanish Arts museum, Museo de Arte Español Enrique Larreta, which used to be a house, close by my city's Chinatown. It had a few works from a contemporary artist (Vicky Graglia), and a Spanish Baroque collection assembled by Enrique Larreta, the house's former owner.

While the modern works of art were interesting, the Baroque collection was simply stunning.

I really liked this picture of candid Flor looking at the church <3

Tons of religious imagery. What a beautiful museum this is! Sadly, it also had some Gardens that were closed off because of the rain :(

Up next was checking out the shops in Chinatown.

Clothing store selfie! This particular store was Korean, filled with BB Creams and circle lenses. So tempting but I had no moneyyyyy ;O;

We had lunch, lots of spring rolls and chow fan <3

I had to leave somewhat early, but I made up for lost time taking lots of pictures! Sadly I don't think I got to photograph everyone, though u_u

Lovely Flor, fully color-coordinated in red and black <3

Candid and posing Emilia! So cute!

Make-up artist Caewin in lovely black and white <3

Our lovely host looking as elegant as ever, Diana! <3

Doll and her beautiful braided hair! Love the blue in this outfit.

Sakura, who also took a picture of me! Thank you! <3

Noelia in black and pops of flowers <3

Ever-classy Clarissa and the two versions of her outfit! haha <3

Aaaand some selfies back home, before taking my Lolita clothes off and moving on to the rest of my Saturday plans:

Thanks to the "Laberinto de Rosas" community for a wonderful Loliday! I hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

Muchas gracias a la comunidad Laberinto de Rosas por un bello Loliday! Espero que disfruten de las fotos! (y perdón, pero dejo la traducción al español para otro momento, así no las hago esperar más por las fotitos! XD)
