Gyaru Jewel-like Make-up, ganbare!

Well, my entry titles are sounding like Pokémon episode names lately.

Yesterday I was having the worst hair day ever in the history of times. My fringe was parted at the middle and just didn't want to cooperate.

Did I give up? No!! I grabbed a curler and turned it around. And when I was done with my hair (two years later), I thought it might also be a good time to practice some make-up.

Well, all the bling came much, much later. (thank you LINE Camera)

I got a quick reminder of how hard gyaru make-up actually is. Which is why I have such an undying respect for all the fashionable gals that work hard every day to perfect this style!

This, too, goes for every girl that spends hours thinking up outfits, trying make-up, doing her nails, no matter what subculture she considers herself to be a part of. I'm proud of you all!

But it's also totally OK to have those days in which you really don't even feel like combing your hair.

My personal advice is - whenever you feel like that, it's the best moment to pamper yourself! And take some selfies.

Just one or two selfies.

Or three... or four... or a million selfies...

I feel like all those hours practicing make-up are slowly making me better! But if you have any con-crit or suggestions about my make-up style, please let me know!

Right now, I feel like going out with this style... but I have to stay and cram for my final exams, so I can't D:

Little Tokyo, L.A. Haul & Fairytale Boutique - Kawaii and Lolita haul, LIZ LISA Special Collection 2013 Mook

Hi everyone! Long time no see!

I promised I wouldn't start a blog post like that ever again. But this time, I kinda have to.

Hope you've been fine. Me? Busy with college, mostly, but also took a time-out from boring routine to have a little vacation!

May have missed a class or two but eh, it's all good. God, I really want this semester to be over...

I went to Orlando, FL, Los Angeles, CA and Disneyland. Yayyyy! So happy!

So today I'm blogging about Little Tokyo in LA. Which, of course, was my favorite part <3 So I'll be going over what I bought there!

To be this far into a post and still no picture is an outrage. So let's get started.

 A sneak-preview of my haul!

Overall, I found Little Tokyo to be a paradise. I only wanted to go because I knew about Fairytale Boutique, but didn't quite imagine what I was going to find there.

Much to my surprise, it was Japan heaven, full of Daiso-like goodies, origami paper, traditional cutlery, Japanese food, kawaii galore, make-up and clothes.

I wish I could live nearer places like this!

First part of the haul: make-up!! From various Japanese make-up shops. I was so in shock I forgot to even take pictures. I was teary-eyed like "OMG I never thought I'd see all of this again mommmyyyyy ;____;"

They sold everything, from eyelashes, blush, Dolly Wink, some Canmake, Palty hair dyes... pinch me.

(So cheap, but look so cute!)

(Diamond Dolly 17. I thought these were a good deal. On sale and including Lash Fix! Yay!)

(Dolly Wink Eyebrow Mascara 1 Milk Tea, exactly the one I wanted! *insert success kid*)

And this was just serendipity! I totally never expected Japanese import stores to appear everywhere while searching for Fairytale Boutique. I know this is kind of what one should expect of a Japan Town. But I'm a hillbilly OK.

Then!!! I finally found Fairytale Boutique. And I bought everything ;_; *happy tears*

I have to really congratulate the shopkeepers! They were really nice and also threw in a lot of gifts in my bag! Including those amazing Automatic Honey Halloween pins you see above, as well as a postcard, a bookmark, candy, Automatic Honey stickers, and Fairytale Boutique pins.

Now I get to show off my shopping! <3

The new LIZ LISA & My Melody Special Collection 2013 Mook. When I saw this, I remembered why LL is one of my favorite brands. And it came with the cutest reversible tote bag, too!

Yes! It has a My Mero side and a LIZ LISA side.

Inside, the mook featured the LL girls (LIZ LISA staff from shops across Japan), and Reina Triendl, who had her own section, of course. I really like Reina as the face of LL - she's so perfect!

But hat's off to all the LL shop staff that work so hard and are so fashionable!!

A big trend in nails was "Maerchen" (メルへン), which means fairytale in German.

I have to admit, I loved the little gifts just as much as I love what I bought, lol. They really outdid themselves!

Automatic Honey's Orion's Spell cat stickers. In love with these illustrations!

But of course, the best for the last!! There is a tiny little thing that I also bought @ the Fairytale Boutique.

Angelic Pretty's Triple Tart! GET!!!

This was a print that I fell in love with the instant I looked at it. It just looks so yummy and delectable in real life! What with all the whipped cream, burnt merengue and berries!

AP's custom lace makes me cry happy pink tears. That's how badly smitten this has got me.

Some print close-ups, and that's it! I hope you enjoyed my haul! <3

Almost forgot! Just outside Fairytale Boutique there's a cosplay and costume store with some purikura machines in it! Here's the purikura I took, featuring the future kawaii girls, my two little sisters!

I'm well behind with reading all of your beautiful blogs but just leave me a comment and I'll get right to it! :3 of course, if we share interests I will follow you back!

Thank you for reading and commenting, kiwis! Just to have to visiting this blog makes me infinitely happy! Please stay tuned for my next update!

LIZ LISA Royal Multicolor Rose Coordinate

Yes hello, this is dog.

(I've no idea why I started off this post like that)

Actually this is Abi. How is everyone doing?

Today's post is another LIZ LISA coordinate. Some other day I talked about having really strong infatuation phases with my favorite brands that go by cycles (i.e. two months Angelic Pretty, two months LL then back to AP and so forth).

I wish I could pick just one style that I like... but they all make me so happy.

Anyway just pictures up ahead so enjoy!

Dress, inner camisole: LIZ LISA
Hair accessories: local Argentine brands
Necklace, bracelet: Juicy Couture

Originally I didn't include the inner cami, but I felt it looked prettier with it. Nice little details on the back with an off-shoulder dress are the key point of this coord!

Pink, blue and green pastel roses enhance the pattern on the dress.

OTK boots: LIZ LISA

Definitely a colder weather coordinate but need I remind you it's freezing here in Argentina. (well it's not so bad but I'm definitely not a winter person)

I'll be looking forward to reading and answering your lovely comments!

Love Pasterine - Floral LIZ LISA Coordinate + Little Details

Today is fashion day again!

Bow, Dress, Shoes, Necklace: LIZ LISA
Socks: tutuanna (I think)

This floral dress from LIZ LISA is one of my favorite things!! Or... I may have one to many favorites. Hahaha.

The bow and necklace I got from one of LIZ LISA'S "Marche" sales, where you can get lots of super cheap sample items. As in, items that are missing a few details or where pulled mid-production but still look great and they sell them for so cheap!! O_O

Make-up is the same from last post because the pictures were also taken at the same time. I'm a cheat fashion blogger, I know.

Sometimes I think to myself, all these fashion bloggers that have AMAZING pictures of the outfit they wore that same day... that can't be possible. That can't be true! Like, to get five good shots I need four hours of adjusting the camera + make-up + getting the pose just right.

You can't mean to tell me you got the perfect shot candidly going out!?

Or maybe it is true, isn't it. Good fashion bloggers get it right on the first try. And I'm just a lousy photographer hahaha.

Pink barrette: SARAH ZODIAQUE

I'm wearing a really pretty pair of nail tips (glued-on) by the brand yuzunail. Detail shots below!

Pink, white and clear details! Lovely!

The pastel tones on this dress are perfectttttt. I wasn't going to buy it at first, because it was part of the then REALLY new "Love Pasterine" spring collection (aka full price). But the shopgirl said, "It's selling out really quickly"

Hahaha, shop assistants know just what to say to make you buy, don't they?

Thank you everyone for you support! Until the next fashion blog attempt, see you!

Cherry Red LIZ LISA + PinkyGirls Coordinate

The other day I was a good blogger and took tons of pictures. So now I'm slowly posting them here.

I put together a gyaru-inspired outfit with rich red and brown tones. International fashion is now beginning to look like winter, and I love it! (of course in Argentina it's always the other way around hahaha *sheepy laugh*)

Sweater: PinkyGirls
Skirt: LIZ LISA
Socks: tutuanna
Pumps: LIZ LISA

And my face of course.

I wouldn't say it's 100% gyaru because the make-up is really light. But it definitely has some gyaru elements there. Popteen usually has this type of color combinations (rich, deep, like autumn leaves) for their cold weather editions.

Of course, it's not cold in the northern hemisphere. But the fall-winter collections are already coming out everywhere.

Have to admit, stole the hairstyle from Popteen's March 2012 edition (it's one of the few I owned, from the time I was in Japan *cries into a pillow*)

It's a simple everyday ribbon look illustrated by Mizukitty. She is, of course, my idol so the pages she's in are the ones I pay close attention to.

Sharing the scan, why not:

As you can see, it's just taking a tuft of your hair from one side and twirling towards the other, tying it up with a bow or any barrette you have.

OMG Mizukitty. I simply love her earnest, wide smile. Whenever I try to smile like that I look like an earnest... doofus.

And in the next ones I was not quite done with the outfit but had just finished the hair.

I cut my hair. Have you noticed? It was down to my waist, so I ended up cutting about 30cm of hair. Yes - almost 12 inches of hair and it still looks fairly long.

Please look at this.

Impressive, right? I feel free like the wind with my new shoulder-length hair. I'm afraid this could be only the beginning. I might go shorter, who knows? It's cute and for long hair you can always have extensions or wigs.

That hair I cut weighted like 100g. I can't believe I carried that everywhere. Too much of a hassle!

I keep having the feeling I'm forgetting something I wanted to say in this post. Uhm. It'll come back to me somehow, I guess.

Please keep supporting me!! Facebook - Instagram - Google+ Thank you!!
