Let's Japan Special - Tokyo Disneyland

To all who come to this Happy Place, welcome.

'twas the final day of the Japan trip. Far from feeling saddened, I was EXCITED MAX to see my two favorite things on this Earth combined...

Disney... and Japan, lol.

Welcome to Tokyo Disneyland!

I love Disney so much I think I could easily be a Disney spokesperson in the future. And I also know Disney World in Florida so well I could be a vacation agent. I seriously know the parks inside out, every little nook and cranny is inside my mind. I already sound like Disney sponsors me or something LOL from the way I talk about it.

So, for a person like me it's only natural that I wanted to know every "Disneyland" on Earth. Tokyo, of course, top of my list.

Without further ado, let's begin my Tokyo Disneyland report! (which I shall call TDL from now on)

More cute pictures aboard the resorts-to-monorail-station bus. I forgot to say that every time you arrived to your destination, be it your hotel or the station, Mickey said, "Aa! Tocchaku! A ha!" ("Oh, we arrived!"). So cute!!!!!! Love you Mickey, please marry me.

Mickey-themed handle on the monorail. You can actually buy a replica of this handle inside the park stores (O_O) I love how they take profit out of this lol.

That day was super cold and plentifully cloudy. We thought it might rain at any minute but luckily it didn't (O_O) that's the magic of Disney for you.

The part that's called Mainstreet USA in the American parks is World Bazaar here. It has a transparent glass roof to keep you from the elements. Honestly though, it wasn't really warm inside the roofed section, but oh well.

Unfortunately that day it was a hectic day so I didn't get to take too many pictures from each of TDL's many lands. But if you have been to Disneyland or the Magic Kingdom at Disney World, they are actually INCREDIBLY similar. Some attractions were even exact replicas.

Cinderella's Castle had a beautiful exposition going on called Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall. Some lovely art pieces, dioramas, shadowboxes, and sculptures were on display. Here is a closer look at some of them:

The only thing I remember to take some pictures of was Toontown. That section was removed from Magic Kingdom, so in TDL it keeps its original Disneyland charm. It's been a while since I last went to Disneyland so it was like visiting a new land for me, hehe.

Scrooge McDuck there taking some pictures. I love everyone's looks at TDL, I don't think there was a single person without Disney merchandise on.

I must say I love that TDL's Toontown still has that original Who Framed Roger Rabbit feel. In Disney World it was treated differently which is a shame, because Roger Rabbit is SUCH a great movie.

I'm not bad... I'm just drawn that way. The whole queue for the Roger Rabbit ride was so fun! I love that it looks like the back alleys of Toontown.

Rocking my new Haunted Mansion maid headband. There are no words to describe how badly I wanted a Haunted Mansion maid katyusha. Why hasn't Disney World thought of this before?? When I wore this headband to the Magic Kindom in FL a few weeks later every Mansion castmember stared at me and smiled.

I adore the Haunted Mansion, I daresay it's one of my favorite attractions. I love creepy-yet-lighthearted stuff the most. I think that if I ever apply for a job at Disney, being a Haunted Mansion maid would be awesome. I have the creepy face and blank stare to go with it, too, haha.

Seriously though I think I haven't been called ugly too many times, but scary, yes. Eh, it's better than nothing I guess lol.

Night-time was quick to fall in TDL and it was almost time for the Dreamlights Electrical Parade. Woo-hoo!

Mickey--!!!

This parade is so beautiful I can't even say anything coherent about it. My pictures aren't the best but my level of excitement was too high. It is quite similar to Disney World's Main Street Electrical Parade but I don't think they are quite the same.

More horrible photographs. I need new hands! hahaha.

I also need to learn to film longer videos :P
