Eating in Japan - Part one

As promised in this post, the food I ate in Japan deserves it's own entry. Or maybe even two.

So, without further ado, here are 7-something days worth of food.

The very first thing I ate after getting off the plane and arriving in Tokyo was Tonkatsu in the eight floor of the Shinjuku Mylord building inside Shinjuku Est. Being my first contact with Japan, Mylord was thrilling! It has quite the nice selection of clothing, so you might want to check it out!

Some of the croquets had cheese in them, too. This was so, so good. Perfect for a first meal.

OK, no, I didn't eat all that food XD I was just fascinated by Family Market (a conbini chain in Japan) and how many things it sold!

Best karaage (fried chicken tidbits) ever in Shibuya.

Ramen, I think? In Akihabara. This restaurant was filled with salarymen, so that was our way of knowing the food was good, lol. It was actually super tasty, and amazing for a cold day.

 Obligatory crepe in Harajuku.

Sushi-go-round in Asakusa. God bless the two sushi chefs who were cutting this fish. Seriously it was like touched by an angel. ... I really do get poetic about food.

Tower of Babel... I mean... this is how much sushi we ate, lol.

These next pics are from a restaurant in Shinjuku. Kind of pricey, but very good. This was a complimentary entree.

Sashimi salad with peanut sauce. I would seriously have this every day!

 Perfect sashimi.
Bacon, cheese and chicken brochettes. They were so yummy, good grief *drools*

That is it for the first food post. I hope you are drooling by now. Stay tuned for part two! :D
